Sprinklers watering a lawn at sunrise, Fair Oaks Ranch

Irrigation and Drainage · from $4,500–$9,500

Sprinkler installation and repair in Fair Oaks Ranch and San Antonio

A sprinkler system is plumbing you can't see, running under a yard that gets mowed, edged, dug in and driven on. Heads break, valves stick, wires get cut and pipes crack when clay shifts. Most of the systems we repair are 10 to 20 years old and have never been audited.

Texas licensed irrigator LI 0024817

We repair any brand and design new systems from scratch. A new system starts with a static pressure and flow test at your meter, then a zone map that puts rotors on large turf areas, spray heads on small ones, and drip on every bed. Our licensed irrigator signs off on the design and the installation.

Who it's for

Who this is for

Homeowners with dry spots, soggy spots, geysers, or a water bill that jumped for no reason. New builds that need a system before sod goes down. Anyone whose old system sprays the street and the house more than the lawn.

Clay soil and run times

Blackland clay in Seguin, San Marcos and east New Braunfels takes water slowly. Run a zone for 20 minutes straight and most of it runs into the gutter. We program cycle-and-soak: three short runs with breaks in between, so the water soaks in. It's one of the simplest fixes for a lawn that looks dry even though the system runs.

Case study

Live oak shade garden, Fair Oaks Ranch

A failing lawn under four heritage live oaks replaced with a deer-resistant native shade garden, drip irrigation and tree uplighting, designed in 3D.

“Seeing it in 3D sold us. The deer walk right through it and leave it alone, and the oaks at night are the best part of the house.”

Questions

Sprinkler installation and repair questions

How do I know if I have a leak?

Soggy spots that never dry, a meter that moves when nothing is running, or a sudden jump in your bill. We test each zone and the mainline during the diagnostic visit.

How often should a system be checked?

Once a year, in spring, before the heat. A check catches broken heads from winter, adjusts coverage and resets the controller for summer.

Can you add zones to my existing system?

Usually, if your water pressure and flow allow it. We test both first. Often the better move is converting some spray zones to drip, which frees capacity.
