Most lighting failures aren't the fixtures. They're corroded wire nuts, cut cables, a tripped or dying transformer, or a timer that lost its schedule in a power outage. We find the cause before replacing anything, so you don't pay for new fixtures to fix a bad connection.
We repair any brand of low-voltage system and retrofit older halogen systems to LED. A retrofit cuts power use by roughly 75 to 80%, ends the cycle of replacing hot bulbs every year, and often lets an overloaded transformer run the whole system again.
Who it's for
Homeowners with a system that's partly dark, flickering, or dead. Older halogen systems with yellowed lenses and burned-out lamps. Systems damaged by trenching, aeration, mowers or other contractors.

What it costs
$175–$2,500
for most repair visits; LED retrofits priced per fixture
Repairs start with a $175 diagnostic visit, credited toward the work. Most repairs land between $175 and $900. Transformer replacements run $900 to $1,800. Full LED retrofits of older systems usually cost $140 to $220 per fixture, often less than replacing every fixture outright.
Repair calls are welcome, however small the job; the minimum service call is $150.
Timeline
Most repairs are done in one visit, usually within a week of your call.
If most fixtures are solid brass and the wire is sound, repair and an LED retrofit almost always make sense. If fixtures are cracked aluminum, wire runs are buried only an inch deep and splices are taped, repairs become a yearly cost. In that case we'll price both options side by side: repair what you have, or replace the system in phases starting with the front yard, so you can choose with real numbers.
We test voltage at the transformer and at the end of each run, then work back toward the problem. Low voltage at the far end usually means undersized wire or too many fixtures on one run. Zero voltage usually means a cut or a failed connection. Knowing which tells us whether to fix a splice, rebalance runs or add a transformer.
Case study
A cracked concrete slab replaced with a covered outdoor kitchen, a gas fire pit and a new LED lighting system that replaced a failed halogen setup.
Read the case study“We had 40 people for the crawfish boil in March and nobody went inside. Caleb came back two weeks later to re-aim two lights we didn't love, without us asking.”

Questions
Yes. Most of our repair calls are on systems installed by others, including builder packages and older halogen systems.
Almost always. LED uses a fraction of the power, lamps last years instead of months, and the lower load often fixes dim lights at the end of long runs.
Our repairs carry a one-year workmanship warranty. Systems we installed are covered by our 3-year fixture and workmanship warranty, so repairs within that window are free unless caused by outside damage.
